We couldn’t wait to check out ZavaZone (Rockville), the self proclaimed indoor adventure park. You had us at adventure! ZavaZone is not your average indoor play place though, with trampolines, rope & zip lines, ninja warrior course and more it entertains children and adults.
While ZavaZone recommends adventurers be 5 years or older, we think those 10 years and older will get the most from the experience. Our young adventurers enjoyed themselves, leaving exhausted and happy, but were only able to really experience about a third of the park. Young adventurers can enjoy the trampolines, which include dodgeball and foam pits, parcore course, ninja warrior course and some of the climbing challenges. For older adventurers there is the ropes course and more climbing challenges.
Adventure parents may be excited to join in the fun and play too. For those parents who want a break from the adventures, need to get some work done, or their mere presence embarrasses their kids can enjoy the Parents Zone and relax. The Parents Zone is conveniently located upstairs with a good view of the ropes course and bird’s eye view of the park.
Pros: Very unique and physically challenging indoor play for older kids and adults. Focus on health, fitness and family fun. Parents only have to pay if they play. Parents zone with views of the park. Friendly staff throughout the park to help and ensure safety. Snacks and beverages for sale. A new place to have a birthday for older kids.
Cons: Bring only the essentials because the locker system is very crowded. You must wear the ZavaZone provided socks on trampolines, but shoes everywhere else. When it’s crowded the lines can get long which matter more when you pay by the hour (1 hour: $19.50, 2 hours: $34.00, 3 hours: $44.00, 4 hours: $54.00, Each additional hour after 4 hours: $10).
In exchange for my time and efforts in attending and reporting my opinion within this blog, as well as keeping you advised of the latest events, I received complimentary tickets to ZavaZone. Even though I receive these benefits, I always give an opinion that is 100% mine.
