We are elated to for the new BSS location in Montgomery County! We have 𝕝𝕠𝕧𝕖𝕕 the BSS program & it’s focus on water safety for families, but some of the locations were a tad inconvenient. The new location changes everything. Come experience it for yourself!

Our first adventure at Massanutten Resort was the Family Adventure park. We love that there are so many different activities all in one place.

The summer tubing was thrilling for the whole family. We had some showers on and off throughout the day so the track was really fast!

If you’re planning to try it with your kids you may want to consider that the tube is a bit loud as you zoom down the hill and there are some bumps along the way. You go so fast that our girls liked to sink down in the tube so the wind wasn’t too fast on their faces going down. They all enjoyed it, but some more than others.

We spent the morning at a local farm. Every year on the Friday after Thanksgiving, we cut down a tree. It’s our first annual Christmas tradition and it’s one of girls favorites!

We weren’t sure what to expect with increasing covid restrictions, but Gaver Farm was ready. They had the crowded areas set up for social distancing, sanitizing stations and streamlined checkouts to reduce contact. We got to the farm at 9:30 and it was busy, but manageable. By the time we were leaving it was getting more crowded. Try to go early to avoid crowds. See more coverage in our stories.

In a weird way it seems like gratitude has been the theme of 2020 for our family. I guess there’s nothing like a global health pandemic to really put things in perspective and help you appreciate what you do have. We have spent so much of this year focusing on the new, the good, the relationships, the progress, the hope, the consistent, the inspiration, the goals & the love.

Today we celebrated all that we have to be thankful for with tons of quality family time and a ton of food!

We got a sneak peak at The Croods: A New Age this weekend! In this sequel, the Croods search for a safer place to call home and they discover an idyllic walled-in paradise built by the Bettermans. Hilariousness ensues and basically we all agree that this prehistoric family film was perfect for a 𝙵𝚊𝚖𝚒𝚕𝚢 𝙼𝚘𝚟𝚒𝚎 𝙽𝚒𝚐𝚑𝚝!
