If the hustle and bustle of the holidays have you dragging your feet, let Cirque de la Symphonie Holiday Spectacular lift your spirits! Cirque de la Symphonie was my favorite holiday show this year. The Baltimore Symphony Orchestra performs holiday favorites while the talented Cirque performers sore through the air, contort their bodies and dazzle the crowd with superhuman feats of balance and flexibility.
The young conductor,Β Nicholas Hersh, was energetic and humorous as he presented the performances and led the orchestra. There is something so exhilarating about the volume and power of the full orchestra playing. Cirque de la Symphonie is a great introduction to the Symphony, but it’s also a delightful Holiday performance for Symphony veterans. The audienceΒ was on the edge of our seats and we were gasping for air as the acrobats dangled from the rafters on pieces of fabric.
Don’t forget to see what the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra have on the calendar in 2018! We are excited for Movie with Orchestra events!
In exchange for my time and efforts in attending and reporting my opinion within this blog, as well as keeping you advised of the latest events, I received complimentary tickets to the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra. Even though I receive these benefits, I always give an opinion that is 100% mine.
