Adventures in Exploration – Birds of a Feather presented by National Geographic Museum

February 17, 2018 @ 11:00 am - 1:00 pm

$15

In our new Saturday matinees series, Adventurers in Exploration, kids can learn more about our amazing planet through live stories from National Geographic Explorers, interactive activities and engaging films that highlight our work in science, technology, conservation and exploration.

Take your family on an epic adventure to discover why birds matter. Hear amazing stories from National Geographic Explorers Washington Wachira and Anusha Shankar, experience the wild beats of explorer and wildlife sound artist Ben Mirin, watch National Geographic WILD’s new film Planet of the Birds, and play an interactive game called Beastbox.

About the film:

From pole to pole and all the spaces in between, birds have range. Thousands of species of birds make their homes from the Antarctic to the African savanna. Travel the globe observing these winged marvels with Planet of the Birds, airing January 19 on National Geographic WILD.

Tickets are $15 for adults and children (7-12 years) are $10.
