Anacostia River Festival

For a taste of local DC, come celebrate the Anacostia River at the annual Anacostia River Festival presented by the 11th Street Bridge Park and National Park Service.
Take a canoe out to explore the River, ride in our bike parade, play lawn games with your family, and experience Southeast DC’s local arts scene at this special FREE event.
Directions
Metro Anacostia Station (green line). Exit toward the parking garage to walk to the Festival site (approx. 7 min.). You can take a free shuttle from the Anacostia Metro Station near the Howard Road exit to the festival site.
Bike Access
Capital Bikeshare service is available at Anacostia Metro Station, Good Hope Road SE across from the Anacostia Arts Center and at Anacostia Park Recreation Center. Free bike valet available!
Parking
Free parking is available at Anacostia Metro Station and at the Anacostia Park Skating Pavilion (1500 Anacostia Drive SE). Paid parking lots are available in the Anacostia neighborhood and Navy Yard.
