ANACOSTIA RIVER FESTIVAL

The National Park Service and the 11th Street Bridge Park present the fourth annual Anacostia River Festival, a premier event of the 2018 National Cherry Blossom Festival. For a taste of local D.C., come celebrate the Anacostia River and take a canoe out to explore the River, ride in our bike parade, play lawn games with your family and experience Southeast D.C.’s local arts scene at this special FREE event. This year we are celebrating biking in the District with trail rides, safety classes, quick bike tune ups and special bike activities for all ages.

Getting There:

Metro
Anacostia Station (green line). Exit toward the parking garage to walk to the Festival site (approx. 7 min).

Bike Access
Free bike valet available!

Parking
Free parking at Anacostia Metro Station (1101 Howard Road SE).  Paid parking lots available in Anacostia and Navy Yard.
If you park at the Anacostia Metro parking garage, please consider the short walk to the Festival site (approx. 7 min) OR a free shuttle is available from the Anacostia Metro Station near the Howard Road exit.
