An event every week that begins at 4:00pm on Friday, repeating until February 23, 2019

Patrons ages 6-12 and their families will enjoy movies every Friday in February in celebration of Black History Month. All movies will be shown in the Children’s Room. Movies begin at 4 p.m.

Feb. 1
Henry’s Freedom Box: A True Story from the Underground Railroad: approx. 12 minutes
Rosa: approximately approx. 10 minutes
John Henry: approx. 10 minutes
Each Kindness: approx. 10 minutes

Feb. 8 
Just A Lucky So and So: The Story of Louis Armstrong: 16 minutes
The Story of Ruby Bridges: 12 minutes
Coretta Scott: approx. 10 minutes

Feb. 15
Ellington Was Not a Street: 12 minutes
Follow the Drinking Gourd: 30 minutes
Ella Fitzgerald: The Tale of a Vocal Virtuosa: approx. 12 minutes

Feb. 22
Freedom on Congo Square: 12 minutes
Nelson Mandela: 38 minutes
Mufaro’s Beautiful Daughters: approx. 10 minutes
