November 14, 2021 @ 11:00 am - 12:00 pm
Free
Join Kalamata and her stuffed alligator, Al Dente, on their food adventures!
We are thrilled to welcome author Sarah Thomas and illustrator Jo Kosmides Edwards to the taproom for our November Story Hour event!
Sarah and Jo are the duo behind the heartwarming book Kalamata’s Kitchen, which follows Kalamata and her stuffed pal Al Dente on their mission to learn about cultures through adventures with food.
Kalamata’s Kitchen uses food to teach kids to be curious, courageous and compassionate. Their mantra: Keep your minds open and your forks ready!
Sarah and Jo will be joined by special guest and Kalamata’s Kitchen ambassador Chef Eric Adjepong from Bravo’s Top Chef, who will answer questions and talk with kids about the foods that have made him feel brave after trying them.
