Earth Day Cleanup and Celebration

The Anacostia Watershed Society’s Earth Day Cleanup is one of the largest annual volunteer events in the watershed. On the Saturday following Earth Day nearly 2,000 volunteers come out to 30 different sites around the watershed to pick-up trash, serve their communities, and enjoy the Anacostia River. The 2018 event will be held on April 21, 2018.
