Experience the beauty and history of the trolley era through the eyes of local artists
during a special event at the National Capital Trolley Museum on April 23. Fifty
professional and amateur artists from the Montgomery Art Association, alongside
children from the region, will spend the day creating paintings of the world’s largest
collection of original Washington, DC, street cars.
Museum admission (12-5pm) includes a tour, trolley ride, and artist viewing, at the
standard museum admission prices. Advanced reservations are strongly recommended
for the public admissions during this time and are available through the Museum’s
electronic ticketing system on the webpage: dctrolley.org. Additional festival activities
include a caricaturist and other fun activities for the children.
Adult and youth artists, spectators, and trolley enthusiasts are welcome to attend.
The rain date for The National Capital Trolley Museum is at 1313 Bonifant Rd. in Colesville, Maryland.
Advanced RSVPs are not required for artists or reception participants.
