February 8, 2020 @ 10:00 am - 11:00 am

It Takes a Village Parenting Series – Understanding Your Child’s Developing Brain: Saturday, February 8
Do you ever wonder why your child acts the way they do or how they understand the world around them? In this workshop, we will:

  • Establish a “Mission Statement” to guide parenting
  • Establish a developmental framework for understanding your child’s behavior, play,
    and learning
  • Learn parenting strategies to promote healthy brain development

Join Dr. Michelle Parker as she dives into this topic on Holy Child’s campus. Dr. Parker earned a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology and has experience in a variety of educational leadership and counseling roles from preschool through college-age students. Dr. Parker is passionate about understanding the role that schools play as “part of the village” in raising children. She speaks frequently to area parents and schools on a wide range of topics, including “Parenting in the Digital Age” and “The Neuroscience of Learning.”  You can register for this event
