How are Indigenous youth asserting their sovereignty and dismantling stereotypes through hip-hop? Register now to engage in a free online conversation with Native youth who meld hip-hop and Indigenous beats and rhymes to construct their own narratives and create social change.

The event is on Friday, August 12 at 1 PM ET. A direct link to view the program will be emailed to registrants 24-48 hours before the program.

Panelists for this event are Mato Wayuhi (Oglala Lakota) and Talon Bazille Ducheneaux (Cheyenne River Lakota/Crow Creek Dakota). Moderated by Kyle T. Mays (Black/Saginaw Chippewa). 

This program is part of the Youth in Action: Conversations about Our Future series, which features young Indigenous activists and changemakers from across the Western Hemisphere who are working towards equity and social justice for Native peoples.
