An event every day that begins at 12:00 am, repeating until September 16, 2018
As visitors enter the South Conservatory, they are surrounded by hundreds of brilliant live butterflies from North America, Costa Rica, Africa and Asia soaring among colorful flowers and going about their business of drinking nectar and looking for others of their kind. Visitors learn about their amazing metamorphosis, the important role butterflies play in healthy ecosystems, and how to ensure these beautiful insects thrive in our own gardens.
Hours:
April 18 – June 30
9 a.m.- 5 p.m. Daily
July 1 – August 31
9 a.m.- 1 p.m. weekdays
9 a.m.- 5 p.m. weekends
September 1 – 16
9 a.m.- 5 p.m. daily
Tickets: $8 for ages 13+, $5 ages 3-12 and 2 and under are free
