Metropolitan Ballet Theatre has been presenting the full-length traditional staging of The Nutcracker in Rockville at Montgomery College since 1989. Year after year audiences are enchanted by MBT’s performances which feature student and professional dancers, fabulous costumes, and beautiful scenery – including a Christmas tree that seemingly grows forever, magical dancing dolls, marching toy soldiers, giant mice, a dazzling blizzard with dancing snowflakes and a land of luscious sweets.
Performance Dates:
Fri. November 30 – 5:30pm
(sneak peek 30th anniversary opening night
working dress rehearsal performance)
Sat. December 1 & 8 – 1pm & 5pm
Sun. December 2 & 9 – 1pm & 5pm

Ticket Prices:
$19: groups of 10+ in advance
$24 for seniors/students/children in advance
$28 for adult tickets in advance
$31 adult tickets at the door
$27 seniors/students/children tickets at the door
Online sales will close 1 hour prior to each performance time or as tickets sell out.
Stay for post-performance “patch chat” for Girl Scouts and other students with cast members after select shows!
