Seneca Creek Winter Lights is back and it just keeps getting better every year! The weather turned quite frosty this week, but you can still enjoy the enchantment of Winter Lights while staying toasty in your car.
The 3.5 mile drive through Seneca Creek State Park is illuminated with over 380 light displays along with 65 animated vignettes!
My children were wonderstruck for the whole 25 minute drive. This is such a whimsical and budget-friendly tradition to start with your family! This is a great holiday adventure, especially for young children who may not be able to walk long distances or sit quietly during performances. We love to caravan through the lights and have been known to throw a Grandparent or two in the car as well.
We loved the different themes such as Teddy Bear Land, a Victorian Village, Winter Woods, and more! Our favorite was sea monster in the lake. The Winter Lights is a great activity for all ages! Be inspired by the professionals to create your own festival of lights at home. We found everything that lights up or glows in our house and created our own light art.
The park is located at 11950 Clopper Road, just a few miles west of the intersection with I-270.
