Did you know that the National Theatre puts on a free event for kids every other Saturday morning, ranging from plays and musical performances, to magicians and reptile encounters? There are so many interesting performances throughout the year and we would highly recommend checking it out!
They have seats for adults and plenty of floor space right up front for kids to be up close and personal with the performance. Since shows are only an hour long it’s a great way to introduce your young ones to live theatre and performances.
Know before you go:
–FREE tickets will be available to reserve one week prior to the performance date via Eventbrite
– The performance is not held in the Main Theatre, rather the Helen Hayes Gallery
-Saturday programming is best suited for children 4-10 years, but siblings and friends of other ages are always welcome
– There are clean bathrooms easily accessible
– You are allowed to bring food and drink into the building, but they prefer you not eat/drink it during the show
