We had such a great time at Imagination Stage enjoying a very funny production of You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown!
I grew up reading the Peanuts comic strip and it was awesome to see some of the most classic moments brought to life on stage! It was such a fun twist to watch Charlie Brown, Snoopy, Lucy, Linus, Sally, and Schroeder take on the struggles of childhood musically! The songs were catchy and had us dancing in our seats, and my kids were still singing them when we got home!

The actors did an incredible job bringing the Snoopy and the gang to life and we were blown away by their singing!

This was our first visit to Imagination Stage and I can’t believe what we’ve been missing out on! They put on five amazing shows per year (The 2018-19 Season of Surprises features Cinderella, Anatole: Mouse Magnifique, Dickens’s Davy Copperfield, Escape from Peligro Island, and The Ballad of Mu Lan), but also offer acting, singing, dancing and filmmaking classes and camps for kids 1-18 years! Plus Weekend Workshops for kids 1-5 and Saturday Song Circle, also for littles, is returning this fall!

We loved visiting Imagination Stage and would highly recommend checking out this hilarious and family friendly show. You can purchase tickets (and season subscriptions/flex packs) here. The theatre is located in downtown Bethesda so you could definitely make an afternoon of catching a show, walking around the area and grabbing a bite at one of the many local restaurants!
